My work explores the relationship between Jungian archetypes and romance tourism. With influences as diverse as Rousseau and John Cage, new combinations are manufactured from both opaque and transparent layers.
Ever since I was a teenager I have been fascinated by the unrelenting divergence of relationships. What starts out as triumph soon becomes debased into a manifesto of temptation, leaving only a sense of failing and the chance of a new understanding.
As subtle replicas become clarified through diligent and diverse practice, the viewer is left with an epitaph for the inaccuracies of our culture.
